Jim commenced Aikido in 1994 and opened the Sunshine Coast Dojo in 2003.

He has trained in the UK, Brazil and Japan.

His classes are taught in a supportive atmosphere exploring the connection of Aikido to everyday life while encouraging students in their journey in the study of this unique art.

Jim is a 6th Dan Shihan licensed teacher and holds a Level 1 MAIA Coaching Accreditation.
